Werner Pfeiffer (Künstler) (* 1937) in Stuttgart, deutsch-amerikanischer Maler, Bildhauer und Hochschullehrer. In 1961 he emigrated to the United States. In 1969 he was appointed Professor of Art at Pratt Institute in New York. At the same time, he became director of the Pratt Adlib Press, and began to concentrate increasingly on his own work as sculptor, printmaker and painter. He now lives in Red Hook, a small community in the Mid-Hudson region in New York State.
